Played many an eight hour long ‘school holiday’ football match - in Brookfield Park - with Martin, Peter and other local lads…not forgetting Mario spectating. Four trees made for perfect goalposts. We all tried to emulate the likes of Alan Clarke, Colin Bell and Alan Hudson with varying levels of success. Remember never bothering to keep score, but can’t recall ever successfully tackling Martin…what a talent!! Priceless treasured memories. R.I.P Martin
